My buddy, Johnny Taylor, brought this awesome song to me and asked if I would record it. It is the first time I've gotten first crack at recording a song written entirely by someone else.

He has country roots through and through, so I tried to bridge that with my heartland rock style, and think I found a good balance. All the credit goes to Johnny. I can't thank him enough, for writing this look at playing music and for giving me the chance to make it part of the my journey.
